BRIM ESTATE AUCTION
We have been asked to sell the remaining contents of the early stone home of Noland D. & Louise Rieman Stover Brim. This home was Joist Hite’s 2nd home while he operated the mill. Items from the Springdale Flour Mill will be included.

Our August 5th sale featured many onetime opportunities to purchase important items. We had exciting choices in all categories. The variety, quality and quantity made for a full day.

Our July 8 sale featured furniture, prints and silver from a long time customer who was downsizing. Similar smaller consignments containing local furniture and a wide variety of items to appeal to all tastes. A featured item was our tapered side farm wagon!

June 3rd, 2010
Our June 3rd sale featured the Jerry and Helen Kirk Estate of White Post, VA consisting of Henkel-Harris furniture, Kerman & Karastan rugs, large accent cupboards, upholstered furniture, sterling silver flatware, cast & wrought iron patio furniture, along with many boxes already packed, containing Waterford stemware, blue & white china, lamps and accessories to be found when you close a home. Other consignments contain more Henkel-Harris, handmade reproductions by Seeley and other cabinetmakers. Woven coverlets & quilts, Stieff Rose flatware, crocks, Indian baskets, some early books, more room size Oriental rugs, many miscellaneous items made a well rounded auction.

We helped settle the estate of Conway “Jason” Layman of Front royal, VA containing collections of chocolate pots, china & brass mantle clocks, Staffordshire & bisque figures. Portions of estates from Winchester & Alexandria, VA along with consignments from Purcellville, VA and locally will provided a much diversified offering of period furniture, high end reproductions along with quality smalls. This was an exciting all day auction.
